Silencers DES

During operation, a diesel power plant (DPP) can generate significant noise. To reduce noise levels, a set of mitigation measures is implemented. Louver (baffle-type) silencers are installed at the air intake to the container and at the air exhaust from the container. Spark arrestor silencers are installed at the engine exhaust gas outlet.

Spark Arrestor Silencer

 

• Medium: flue (exhaust) gases

• Exhaust gas temperature: up to +650 °C

• Installation location: exhaust gas discharge line from the engine

• Design: cylindrical, vertical / horizontal

• Material options: steel 09G2S (St20 / St3) / 12Kh18N10T

• Connection to exhaust pipe: flanged / welded

Louver (Baffle-Type) Silencers

 

• Medium: ambient air

• Operating pressure: atmospheric

• Ambient temperature: from −60 °C to +60 °C

• Installation location: air intake to the container, air exhaust from the container

• Design: baffle cassettes in a metal casing

• Material options: steel 09G2S (St20 / St3) / 12Kh18N10T

• Connection to container: flanged

• Additional options: installation of a removable protective cover to prevent small objects from entering the engine cylinders
